Job Description

As a Social Media Intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the social media team’s efforts to create engaging content, increase brand visibility, and foster community engagement across various social media platforms. This internship offers a hands-on learning experience in social media management, content creation, analytics, and digital marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Assist in creating and curating content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This may include writing captions, designing graphics, and editing videos to align with brand messaging and campaign objectives.

Community Management: Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster positive interactions to build and maintain relationships with the audience.

Content Scheduling: Learn to use social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite) to schedule and publish content across multiple platforms at optimal times to reach target audiences and maximize engagement.

Analytics and Reporting: Assist in tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, and follower growth. Learn to generate reports and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of social media strategies and identify areas for improvement.

1. Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and industry developments to identify opportunities for content creation and campaign optimization.
2. Collaboration: Work closely with the social media team and other departments to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events. Collaborate on brainstorming sessions, contribute creative ideas, and support cross-functional projects.
3. Campaign Support: Provide support in the execution of social media campaigns, contests, and promotions, assisting with content ideation, asset creation, scheduling, and monitoring performance.
4. Research and Insights: Conduct research on audience demographics, competitors, and industry trends to inform content strategy and optimize social media tactics for maximum impact.

Education and Experience:
